Battle of the Little Bighorn
In June 1876, on the Little Bighorn River in Montana Territory, Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho fighters met a column of the U.S. 7th Cavalry under George Armstrong Custer. The action is part of the Great Sioux War.
