Boudica
died c. 60/61 CE
Boudica was queen of the Iceni in eastern Britain. After Roman officials flogged her and assaulted her daughters, she led a revolt that burned Camulodunum, Londinium, and Verulamium. Roman writers say a later field action broke the revolt.
