Battle of Waterloo
In June 1815, south of Brussels, Napoleon Bonaparte’s army met an Anglo-allied force under the Duke of Wellington while a Prussian army under Blücher marched toward the same ground. The action closed the Hundred Days, Napoleon’s return from exile on Elba.
